A Letter Every Adoptive Parent Should Read!

This letter is about loss. It gives you a very realistic idea about what a child must be experiencing as they go from parent to orphanage to nanny at orphanage to director to new parent and the new environment. I knew that there are transitions a child goes through, but I never thought of it quite like this.

I highly recommend reading this so that you as a new adoptive mother and father and sibling can fully understand what would have been going on in the mind of a precious little one.

That's Great Lisa,
How often do children come into your orphanage? So how soon can you expect a referral of siblings? We were hoping for siblings, but that is not going to happen...the wait would be so long.

This stage in your girls life will truly be difficult. I have no doubt time heals along with your love. Natually all will work out. They're in a huge need for a loving, sharing, caring family and you all are in a huge need to share your lives with them. What a perfect match. I'm glad your keeping me updated. Keep the posting coming, whatever it takes to help you through the wait. Miss you, Love you, Terry

Isn't waiting just a pain? But, think of all the things you will now be ready for... so there is an upside to all of this. It is all in God's timing. Just read your blog - did you accept the referral for the one little girl? I couldn't find that part... so exciting. Good luck!
